    Ultru offers a variety of contracts within a wide range of sectors. In each division we provide long-term contracts, temp work only, temp-to-hire employment, and direct hire placements. Industries include, but are not limited to manufacturing, environmental safety, disaster restoration, construction, maintenance, administrative, hospitality, and more.


  • How long are your typical contracts?

    Each contract varies depending upon Customer needs and type of staffing or recruiting they are interested in. Temp-to-hire varies from 60-120 days, until full time employment is offered. Recruitment needs vary from 30-90 day satisfaction or replacement requested periods. If you have something specific in mind, feel free to contact Ultru.   • What if I’m not happy with my temporary placement?


    We understand that candidates do not want to work in positions where they feel they aren’t appreciated. In some cases, a candidate may just not be a good fit for the position in which they were placed. If these situations occur, or you just simply want to be placed at another facility, we will exhaust all options to place you in a position where you feel you can thrive. Ultru has an open-door policy that allows workers to come to their recruiter or representative and discuss how well their placement is going or whether something needs to change.

  • What pre-screening do you use?

    Our pre-screening requirements vary based upon the customer’s needs. Drug screens, background checks, reference checks, and education confirmations are performed with each candidate. The type of drug screen can vary depending on what is required for the position. Some will require driving records, stress tests, physicals, etc. It really just depends on what the customer is requesting.

  • How long does the process take, from candidate contact through to hire?

    The length of time from candidate contact to hire can vary depending on the position applied for. Typically, applicants can expect to begin work within 5-14 days of their interview. A majority of this waiting period is due to background checks. If such checks aren’t required, an applicant can begin as soon as 2 days.
